Air Serbia Starlink WiFi

Air Serbia, the flag carrier of Serbia, has not announced plans to equip its aircraft with Starlink satellite internet. As the aviation industry witnesses a growing shift toward high-speed connectivity powered by low-earth-orbit satellite networks, Air Serbia has yet to publicly commit to this technology. The airline currently does not offer inflight WiFi on its fleet, meaning passengers should expect to remain offline during their journey unless they make alternative arrangements. The absence of Starlink or any comparable inflight connectivity service places Air Serbia alongside many regional carriers that have not yet prioritised this amenity. While legacy airlines across Europe and North America increasingly view reliable internet access as essential to the passenger experience, particularly on medium- and long-haul routes, Air Serbia has focused its investment priorities elsewhere. For travellers accustomed to staying connected at cruising altitude, this represents a notable gap in the airline's service offering. Should Air Serbia pursue Starlink in the future, the technology would offer a path to modern, high-bandwidth connectivity without the need for traditional air-to-ground infrastructure or costly geostationary satellite systems. Other carriers have embraced Starlink for its ability to deliver fast, low-latency internet across entire route networks, including over oceans and remote regions. Whether Air Serbia will join this wave remains uncertain, leaving passengers to plan accordingly for offline travel in the meantime.
