CDGVAL is your friend — use it for all terminal connections
The free CDGVAL automated shuttle (04:00–01:00) connects T1, T3/Roissypôle, and the T2 hub in ~8 minutes per leg. If you land T1 and connect to Air France at T2E (non-Schengen), budget 20–25 minutes including CDGVAL + walking. Never pay for a taxi between terminals.
CDG Express opens March 2027 — plan accordingly for 2026 trips
The much-delayed direct express train (CDG Terminal 2 → Gare de l'Est, 20 min, €25, every 15 min) definitively opens 28 March 2027. For all 2026 travel, RER B (€13, ~25 min to Gare du Nord) remains the primary rail option. RoissyBus discontinued March 2026.
T2G requires a dedicated shuttle bus — not just a short walk
Terminal 2G is 800m from the T2 main block and cannot be reached by CDGVAL or on foot from the main terminal. Take the free shuttle bus ('navette orange'/BUS N2) from T2E or T2F. When transiting through T2G, passengers in the secure zone use an internal orange shuttle. Allow minimum 20–30 minutes for any T2G connection.
The only Priority Pass lounge at CDG is YotelAir T2E Hall L — but it's restricted
Air France, Extime, and Primeclass lounges all reject Priority Pass. YotelAir (T2E Hall L, near gates L41–L53) is the sole Priority Pass option — but only for passengers departing from T2E gates K, L, or M on international non-Schengen flights. It requires navigating through immigration first, then taking the LISA shuttle to Hall L. Not usable for Schengen/EU flights.
Terminal renaming starts March 2027 — today's T2E will become T5
Effective 16 March 2027, CDG terminals are renumbered 1–7. Today's T2E (main Air France hub) becomes T5; T2F → T6; T2G → T7. Airlines booking tickets for travel after March 2027 may already show the new numbers. If your 2027 Air France booking shows 'Terminal 5', that is today's T2E. The renaming aligns with CDG Express launch (28 March 2027).

Automated fast-track border control (Passage Automatisé Rapide Aux Frontières Extérieures) using facial recognition. Available at CDG for both Schengen entry and exit.
