LAM Mozambique Airlines Starlink WiFi

LAM Mozambique Airlines currently operates without Starlink connectivity across its fleet. As the flag carrier serving Mozambique and connecting the country to regional and international destinations, the airline has not yet announced plans to adopt satellite-based internet services. Passengers flying with LAM should prepare for limited or no inflight connectivity on their journeys. The absence of Starlink on LAM Mozambique Airlines reflects the broader reality that many regional carriers in Africa have yet to invest in advanced inflight WiFi solutions. While global and long-haul operators have increasingly turned to Starlink for reliable, high-speed connectivity over oceans and remote areas, smaller airlines often prioritise other operational investments. For passengers accustomed to staying connected during flights, this means LAM travel requires alternative planning. As Starlink continues to expand its aviation footprint and demonstrate success with airlines worldwide, the technology may become more accessible to carriers of all sizes. The system's ability to provide consistent coverage across Africa—a continent where ground-based connectivity infrastructure can be sparse—makes it an attractive option for regional operators. Whether LAM Mozambique Airlines will join the growing number of carriers offering satellite internet remains to be seen, but passenger demand for connectivity continues to influence airline decisions across the industry.
