Croatia Airlines Starlink WiFi

Croatia Airlines, the national flag carrier, has not announced plans to equip its aircraft with Starlink satellite internet. Passengers travelling on a Croatia Airlines flight will not find Starlink WiFi available onboard at present, and the airline has made no public commitment to adopting SpaceX's connectivity system. While many European and global carriers have begun exploring or implementing high-speed satellite solutions, Croatia Airlines has yet to disclose any inflight connectivity roadmap. The absence of Starlink reflects the airline's current operating model and investment priorities rather than any technical barrier. As a regional carrier focused primarily on short and medium-haul routes across Europe, the business case for inflight WiFi differs considerably from long-haul operators where passengers value connectivity during extended flights. Starlink has gained traction among airlines seeking to differentiate their service offering with fast, low-latency internet that rivals ground-based connections, but adoption requires capital investment and operational integration. Passengers hoping for connectivity on a Croatia Airlines flight should prepare to remain offline or rely on mobile roaming where available. The broader aviation industry has seen accelerating interest in satellite WiFi solutions as passenger expectations evolve, particularly on routes where staying connected has become essential for business travellers and digital nomads. Whether Croatia Airlines will eventually join this trend remains uncertain, and travellers should monitor official airline announcements for any updates to inflight amenities.
