Passengers flying on a Fiji Airways route today will not find SpaceX's low-latency connectivity available in the cabin. The airline currently operates transpacific and regional services connecting Fiji with destinations across Oceania, Asia, and North America, but inflight WiFi remains absent from the passenger experience on these flights. The broader aviation industry has seen a wave of carriers embracing Starlink for its ability to deliver high-speed, low-latency internet over oceans and remote regions—precisely the environment where traditional satellite systems struggle.
