Aeromexico has not announced plans to install Starlink connectivity on its aircraft. As Mexico's flag carrier, the airline currently operates without satellite-based inflight WiFi on most of its fleet, leaving passengers on many routes without internet access during their journeys. While some competitors in the North American market have moved aggressively to adopt Starlink's low-earth-orbit technology, Aeromexico has not publicly disclosed whether it is evaluating the service or pursuing alternative connectivity solutions. The absence of a Starlink programme places Aeromexico behind several carriers that serve overlapping markets, particularly on transborder routes between Mexico and the United States where passenger expectations for reliable connectivity continue to rise. Airlines across the Americas have embraced Starlink for its ability to deliver high-speed internet over remote regions and oceanic routes where traditional air-to-ground systems cannot reach. For a carrier operating extensive domestic services across Mexico's varied terrain alongside international long-haul flights, satellite connectivity would represent a meaningful enhancement to the passenger experience. Whether Aeromexico ultimately pursues Starlink or an alternative provider remains to be seen.
