If you have Priority Pass and want a sit-down meal, Mercantile Dining & Provision (Concourse A, Gate A39) is the only PP-eligible venue at DEN and is genuinely excellent — however, the $28 credit only applies if your Priority Pass is issued via Chase Sapphire Reserve (not Amex Platinum or Capital One). The AGT underground train connects all concourses in 2–3 minutes, but the train can be standing-room only during holiday peaks — budget 10–15 minutes to reach your gate from the Jeppesen Terminal. The Rest & Recharge area on the Concourse A Mezzanine is a free quiet zone with comfortable seating and charging stations — a useful alternative to the paid lounges, especially during the long security queues created by the Great Hall construction.
DEN's Great Hall Project (ongoing through ~mid-2027) has significantly redesigned the security checkpoint layout. The new East Security Checkpoint opened ahead of schedule in August 2025, with 17 lanes. TSA PreCheck and CLEAR biometric lanes are available at all checkpoints (West and East on Level 5 and the Concourse A Bridge checkpoint). With 82+ million passengers annually, allow 30–45 minutes for security during peak morning hours (07:00–09:00) and afternoon banks (15:00–18:00). The Concourse A Bridge checkpoint (accessible from Level 6 Departures) can be faster than the main Level 5 checkpoints for passengers heading to Concourse A only — it is open 04:30–17:45 daily. Some check-in counters are temporarily located on Level 5 (instead of the usual Level 6) due to Great Hall construction — check signage.
International arrivals clear CBP in the Federal Inspection Area at Level 4 of Concourse A. After clearing immigration and customs, re-check bags at the re-check desks before continuing to your connecting gate. Global Entry provides expedited immigration through automated kiosks and includes TSA PreCheck — enrollment center available at DEN (check flydenver.com for current location during Great Hall construction). Mobile Passport Control accepted for eligible US citizens and permanent residents. DEN's international operations are entirely in Concourse A: allow extra time if your connection requires taking the AGT train from Concourse A to B or C.
