Question 1

Does aircraft N8979L have Starlink WiFi?

Accepted Answer

Aircraft N8979L (B38M, operated by Southwest Airlines) has not yet been checked for Starlink WiFi. This is not the same as confirming it doesn't have it — check back as more aircraft are confirmed.

Question 2

How do I know if my flight is on aircraft N8979L?

Accepted Answer

Aircraft assignments are typically published 24–48 hours before departure. Check the airline app or a flight tracking app for the tail number assigned to your specific flight. Search the tail number on StarlinkFlights to instantly see Starlink status. Note that airlines can swap aircraft up to the moment of departure due to maintenance or operational changes.
